This is a vintage Solingen-made straight razor in mint NOS - New Old Stock condition.
Tang marked with “1794 Meister Mertens” and Other side marked “Spitzenqualität Soligen Germany”
It is unsure who is the maker of this razor, but it is a fine quality razor made in Germany. The names attached to this razor is a homage to famous straight razor makers in Germany. Beautifully etch with gold inlay on the face of the straight razor. Slight oxidation near the tail of the razor ( refer to picture)
Exceptional shaver, great size for beginners who wants to get into straight razor shaving. Smaller size for better maneuverability.
Although its stainless steel doesn’t mean it is un-rustable, care shall be taken as well to keep it dry and oiled for long term storage.
